L'Oiseliere Dinner Menu

Join us to experience one of Amanda's famous home cooked, delicious dinners. With the taste and quality of haute cuisine but the hearty portions of a farmhouse kitchen. You can start by joining us for an aperitif of your choice whilst we serve you with canapes and nibbles, followed by an entree, main course, local cheeses, dessert and coffee and of course wine with your meal.  We offer all types of cooking and like to give our guests a choice of menu before they arrive.  We can accommodate most tastes and dietary requirements and provide many different types of food including French classics, English favourites, Asian and Indian nights, barbecues and many more.  We will always contact you to discuss your menus in advance. For the younger members of the family (under 13's) we can provide either a small portion of the adult meal or a typical childrens menu of sausage, burger, chicken nuggets and chips. We charge 25 euros per head for adults (including house wine), 15 euros per head for children under 12 years old and 10 euros per head for our childrens menu (including soft drink) please see "Les Petite Oiseaux" menu

We also offer a small but excellent wine list with the majority of our wines sourced from local vinyards and a help your self honesty bar where you can help yourselves to drinks at any time during your stay.

The menus below are some examples of the different types of menus that we can offer, but we will consult with you before you arrive as to what types of food you enjoy and arrange a menu before hand. Some people are very specific as to what they want, whereas others are very happy to leave it to us to see what is fresh at the local market and are happy to be surprised. You decide, and we will try to accommodate, wherever possible

I have been asked so many times for so many of my recipes, and I have so many family recipes that I feel need to be placed together that this years winter project is for me to write a recipe book with some of the tales of my experiences in France and in England in the kitchen. If any of you would be interested in obtaining a copy, please let me know and I will contact you when it becomes available. In fact many of you may find that you may recognise yourselves in some of the stories (although the names may have been changed to protect the innocent - or should I say, not so innocent!!)
