L'Oiseliere - Comfortable and friendly bed and breakfast and short breaks in the Loir valley

A charming country farm house set in the heart of the Loir valley on the outskirts of the medieval village of Luche-Pringe. Situated 10 kms from both the beautiful market town of La Fleche and the smaller town of Le Lude with its famous chateau. We are also 30 minutes from Le Mans and 45 minutes from Tours, Angers and Saumur.

This chambre/table d'hotes is an ideal place for a stopover or an extended stay to experience some of the magic and delights of the Loir and Loire valleys. Ideally placed for a stopover on the way to the South of France, Vendee, Royan, or other beachside destinations. Only minutes away from the new A28 autoroute directfrom all the ports and approximately 4 hours from Boulogne. We can accommodate upto 8 people over 4 bedrooms.

Amanda and Peter and their family would like to invite you to join them in a taste of their little part of paradise (sorry we are biased - but many guests agree with us). Not only do we provide comfortable and welcoming accommodation, we also endeavour to help make your holiday experience a truly memorable one with a home from home environment with a little touch of pampering. Come and enjoy the wildlife, take a dip in the pool and enjoy some delicous home cooked food, then roll into bed for a peaceful nights sleep only to be woken  by the birdsong in the morning

We can accommodate people wishing to stay for one night, perhaps on the way to another destination or those wishing to stay for a complete holiday. Why not join us on a long weekend getaway, where we can arrange a chauffeur driven tailor made trip, visiting various sites of interest specific to your requirements. The area has a wealth of places to visit including beaches and watersports, an abundance of chateaux, medieval churches and abbeys, a world famous zoo and many fetes and festivities throughout the year. You tell us what you would like to do and we will arrange it.

Amanda's passion in life is cooking and entertaining and loves nothing more than a bustling dining table with everyone enjoying her food. We offer much more than just a continental breakfast. Full cooked English breakfasts (on request), succulent Sunday roasts, delicious picnic hampers for lunches, light suppers for those late arrivals and our famous Table d'hotes - a 4 course meal including wine and coffee for just 25 euros per head (15 euros for children under 10). Or a typical childrens menu for 10 euros if you should wish.
